Our Day

Once upon a time, there was a girl….

She was blessed by friends

And surrounded by family

And there was this man

A stunning, godly man who loved her very much…

And she loved him so much…

So, with all of these witnesses…

They got married

And they made a vow before God – for better or worse

Screenshot 2014-04-10 10.10.14In sickness and in healthto love, honor, and obey…

Until death do us part…

consecrated in the blood of Christ and complete,

pledging our lives to God and each other.

Then they celebrated,

And then as the lights burned low, they left as husband and wife

And they lived…

happily

  1. Hi! I found your blog through Homestead Revival and really enjoy it! You had a beautiful wedding and you and your husband are such a beautiful couple! God bless you two! I enjoy gardening (unfortunately, my apartment limits me) and look up homesteading sites for inspiration. By the way, your Julia Childs kitchen is very creative! I would love to see more of your inspiring, very well written posts! God bless!

    • I’m glad you like my blog and thank you 🙂
It is funny that you mentioned gardening in apartments because as you can see I live in one. There is dirt in my bones, so don’t be surprised if there is a post soon about small space gardening.

      • I would love to read posts on small space gardening! I planted a bunch of stuff (cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, kale, dill, basil and onions…I know way too much to realistically plant on my balcony) and need to figure out ways to maximize how much I can grow on my tiny balcony.
