There is a certain joy that fills my hear and drowns my soul because of the confidence I have in Christ and His power. This Man, God himself, did more in thirty-two years than all mankind has done in all time. He fulfilled the purpose of God from the beginning of time. He faced and dismissed the insufficiencies of man. His own garden, his own slavery, his own exile, his own sacrifice, his own giant, his own rejection in all these things Christ prevailed. He was the New Adam, the New Noah, the New Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, the New Joseph. Every hero of our faith was insufficient, but Christ took their part and fulfilled each of them completely.
